Worked on another watercolor painting today. I freelanced it. No tracing or drawing. Not bad. Love using the painters tape to create a border. Painted another bird this weekend. It's a Scarlet Tanager. The best part of the painting? The tree branches! The bleeding was perfect! Wasn't happy with the green until after it dried. Watercolor definitely gets darker as it dries. I did a much better job with shadowing on the bird this time. Improving my technique! Got some other ideas for the next piece. #watercolor #watercolorpainting #artist #artistsoninstagram #birds #birdpainting #painting
