Two days before my 41st birthday back in 2017, I started keeping a journal, something I'd attempted many times throughout life but either couldn't think of anything to write, or I abandoned the effort due to lack of enthusiasm. This time I told myself I didn't have to write everyday, and I didn't have to record what I did everyday. I just had to write and do it often. I make lists. I write down memories. I write about my life. I draw. I make up stories. I collage. I sketch. I fill it with clippings and mundane stuff. But most importantly, I just keep going. Today I finished my fifth journal. The second tank is a bit of a mess but I will fix that in a few weeks. I plan on rearranging the plants and probably removing the clunky piece of Mopani wood. I gave this tank a bit of a makeover today during water changes. I added the spider wood and some river stones, moved the plants, and did some trimming. It looks better.
