Lone Writer’s Log Book: Day 106-113, 2017

Sunday the 16th

  1. It’s Easter. Also would have been my dad’s 76th birthday.
  2. Finished reading Comedy On The Edge. Going to read Alec Baldwin’s new memoir next.
  3. I’m off this week for vacation.

Monday-Sunday

Packed and got on the road early Monday morning headed to Tennessee.

Started writing in a journal on Tuesday, something I haven’t done in years.

Visited Dad’s grave on Wednesday. I noticed the cemetery had lots of dead grass so I bought 5 lbs. of grass seed and reseeded the grave yard.

My birthday was Thursday. Mom cooked spaghetti for me and had a DQ ice cream cake for me.

Finished the Baldwin memoir on Friday and started reading Mary Higgins Clark’s very first book called Where Are The Children?.

Went to the lake with the family on Saturday for dinner.

On Sunday we stopped back by the cemetery after lunch; my grass had started to come up thanks to it raining all week. It was also cold most of the week. ย I was back home in St. Louis by 7pm.
