Wow, September is over! That means it’s time for Halloween decorations! This past weekend I bought pumpkins, gourds, sunflowers, mums, and kale for my front porch. I just couldn’t wait. I’ll post pics of those tomorrow.

We did some early “Halloween” shopping a few weeks ago when we purchased this android and this owl which are made from real gourds by a local artist that calls his business “Gourd Monsters.” We follow him on FB and caught up with him at a local flea market a few weeks ago, and of course, we just had to have a few of his art pieces. The droid actually lights up! They are so cute we probably won’t be putting them away after Halloween is over.
