It’s been raining a lot this week. I snapped this photo of the back yard on Wednesday night. It’s a bit of a gloomy photo, but everything is still green at least. Autumn is coming. Our vegetable garden there in the front is so bare now. Those are tomato plants left there for compost. It seems like they’ve been gone now forever, but we were still picking tomatoes just a few weeks ago. Soon, a photo like this will be in shades of brown but I don’t mind. I always look forward to the fall season.

I’m leaving today for a 3 day weekend in Tennessee for my Mom’s birthday, so there will be pics to follow for a few days from the homeland.
