More lilies today, but again, some of the last blooms we’ll see this year. This is a new one, and only its second year to bloom. Unfortunately, we planted it under an apple tree, not expecting it to get so tall. The blooms are literally up in the tree branches. That’s why you see all the leaves and bark around them. We will be moving this one next year to a better location where its blooms can be better appreciated.

And this little yellow guy is not much to look at now, but when there are more blooms in June and July it’s one of my favs. Only because it’s the first we planted when we bought the house 7 years ago. I bought six of these. They’ve all been moved around now, but continue to bloom each and every year. Just a fun reminder of when we first started our back yard garden.
