Yesterday while shopping a local farmer’s market, I came across a millet plant for just five bucks.  I loved the look of it so I bought one.  Too bad its an annual, but they said the birds would enjoy eating off of it.  It looks great in a pot along our new cobblestone pathway.

We bought it at the Ferguson Farmer’s Market from a local vendor we’ve shopped before. We also came away with some tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, onions, and fresh bacon.
