This is quite literally a “surprise lily” in that I didn’t buy this color. Last year I bought several new lily bulbs and this color was not one of them.  It just bloomed this week.  It’s a nice buttercream color so we’ll keep it. 🙂  But since some of the other new lilies did not bloom this year I have no idea which one I’m missing.  Oh well…that’s the joy of gardening from mail order catalogs I guess.
