Also while in Dyersburg this past weekend, I took some snapshots of mother’s flowers in bloom. The yellow rose bush is a china rose I gave to her for Mother’s Day about three years ago. So nice to see how much it’d grown and full of blooms too. The iris are some of the ones I still remember blooming in the yard back when I was a kid – probably the reason I love them so much now – in fact I know it’s the reason. Reminds me of home. I even dug up a root of these to take back with me this time.
