Notice they basically cut the words MUSCIC TELEVISION from the bottom.
In fact, it literally looks like they just took a box cutter and made a clean cut across the top and the bottom. I wonder what unpaid intern got a pat on the back for this genius work?
They should have dropped the MUSIC TELEVISION from the logo years ago, because you and I both know they dropped MUSIC from their channel a long time ago.
Remember the days when MTV was nothing but music? Back in the days of VHS tapes and satellite dishes, I used to turn on MTV and make a mix tape of videos. And maybe, just maybe, there was a top 10 countdown with someone like Bon Jovi that afternoon that I rushed home from school for. No commercials. No game shows. No “reality” TV. No Real World. No Jersey Shore.
MUSIC! Just MUSIC! All day. Everyday.
