Here’s a picture of me and J from 2003. It was taken at a book signing and reading for my first book, The Other side of What, at the Memphis Gay and Lesbian Community Center. The GLBT Bookclub had chosen my book as their monthly selection and invited me to participate in a discussion and sign copies. Wow! Hard to believe that was now 5 years ago!
