If you haven’t seen it already, rent The Brave One with Jodie Foster. She should have got another Oscar nom for this one. I watched it last night, and although at times it seemed to be going in one direction and then abruptly would go in another, and some parts are just lose scenes sewn together to suggest a quick passage of time, I highly recommend this movie. There are few movies that make me tense, sitting on the edge of my seat and holding my breath, rooting for the kind of justice that is far from legal in this country.

But see this movie, and you will know what I mean. And yeah, I have to admit I was in tears in the end. The ending of the movie was perfect and delivered the way you would have wanted it too, at least I wanted it. Oh, and pet lovers will shed a tear or two as well. Watch it and you’ll know why. Bravo to Jodie…that secretive elusive woman I’ve admired in everything she’s done. Hello, Clarice.
